Description

SEE THE DIFFERENCE QUALITY MAKES

Tigerhood™ Classic contains the features that make lightweight thermo plastic welding helmets popular with today’s welders. What makes it stand out is its performance and comfort enhancing extras that help welders produce more with fewer injuries. Molded from Noryl,® job proven superior in welding related performance characteristics, Tigerhood™ Classic is the workhorse of thermoplastic helmets. It maintains its high performance level across a wide spectrum of welding processes and working conditions. Tigerhood™ Classic has a high welder satisfaction rating because it helps welders do their job better. When welders do their job better – you gain a productivity edge.

EXCLUSIVE AIRFLOW DESIGN

Tigerhood™ Classic’s unique design provides extended throat protection while blocking fumes and smoke from the face. Size and shape allows air to circulate, to help clear any smoke and fumes that seep in.

COLORS AND SILVER COATING ALSO AVAILABLE

Molded-in colors eliminate chipping, peeling and fading. Smooth, seamless shell deflects sparks and spatter reducing the risk of burn through. Silver coating exceeds standards for abrasion, adhesion, wear and weathering and deflects heat to lower the temperature for welder comfort. All models complete with shade 10 filter lens installed.

EXTRAORDINARY COMFORT

Tigerhood™ Classic sets the standard for comfort. Its exclusive 3C, free floating headgear with multiple wearing adjustments; and its ability to comfortably accommodate protective spectacles and respirators, improves welders quality of work life. Comfortable welders have less downtime and produce more each working day.

The Single Helmet Solution

In any fabrication environment, productivity, safety and optic clarity are important. The VIKING® 3250D FGS™ from Lincoln Electric provides enhancements to each of these elements when compared to a standard welding helmet.

Maximizing Field of View

The integrated clear grind shield and shade 5 side windows increase field of view in both the open and closed positions.

Productivity

    • The integration of a clear grind shield shortens the amount of time needed to begin grinding operations and eliminates the need for a separate face shield.
    • The expanded field of vision in both positions can reduce setup, inspection and weld time

Safety

    • The expanded field of vision in both the open and closed positions makes material inspection, grinding and general movements less hazardous.
    • The ANSI Z87.1 compliant grind shield can protect operators from various impact hazards

Industry Leading Optics

  • 4C Lens Technology – Broadens the color range & hues which can be seen in both light and dark states. This eliminates imperfections and color saturation to create the clearest view of the base material, arc & puddle.
  • Perfect 1/1/1/1 Optical Clarity – This rating is determined by measuring blurriness, distortion, shade consistency and angle uniformity of the auto-darkening welding lens.
  • Largest Viewing Area for Product Type – The 12.5 square inch auto-darkening viewing area provides a widescreen view which increases versatility and operator control.
  • Digital Controls – Quickly change mode, shade, delay or sensitivity settings.
