The Jackson Safety 490P Fiber Shell Welding Helmet features a lightweight, vulcanized fiber shell for comfortable, yet cool, heavy-duty welding. The helmet meets ANSI Z87.1-2010 standards. Though it isn’t suited for damp areas or overhead welding, it’s made of 10% recycled fiber content and the safety plate measures 2 x 4.25 inches, so you have a generous viewing area. The built-in quick-slide filter plate holder is ideal for tight work environments. The W20 Series Specialty Welding Helmets are ideal for special welding applications, whether you’re in a high heat environment, welding in a tight space or need a lightweight alternative to a bulky welding helmet.
